Deborah Abigail Picazo Apodaca, 46, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, November 19, 2003 in a local hospital. Services will be 10:00 am Saturday at OakCrest Funeral Home with Mike Dobbs officiating. Burial will follow in the Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Deborah was born on December 4, 1956 in Flagstaff, Arizona. She was the beloved daughter of the Rev. C.C. Benjamin and Tillie Ayala (Garcia) Picazo. Deborah had a BS in Education and was a teacher. She was a member of the Latin American United Methodist Church in Waco. She was a beloved daughter, mother, sister and friend.
She is survived by her sons, Frank Apodaca and wife Lisa, Ben Apodaca and wife Daisy and Adrian Apodaca and wife Matilda all of Waco; seven grandchildren; mother, Tillie Picazo of Bryan; brothers, Joel Picazo of Bryan, Efraim Picazo and wife Teresa of Garden City, KS, David Picazo and wife Diana of Hewitt and Michael Picazo and wife Fawn of Clear Water, KS; sisters, Myra Rodriguez and husband Rafael of Cedar Hill, Maria Dolores Rios and husband Ricardo of Bakersfield, CA and Betty Sue Cruz and husband Alex of Irving, and special friend, Reuben Munoz of Waco.
Pallbearers will be Cornelio Bravo, Manuel Encinias, Rafael Rodriguez, Ricardo Rios, David Picazo and Pablo Duarte.
