Delores Gayton Suarez, 58, of Waco, passed away August 14, 2013. Services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with burial in Oakwood Cemetery. Rosary will be recited 7 p.m. Sunday at OakCrest Funeral Home.
Delores was born in Waco to Santiago and Valentina Marquez, and attended Waco Public Schools. She previously worked at HEB on South Valley Mills. Delores was married for over 20 years to Eligio “Lee” Suarez. She enjoyed Word Finds, watching cooking shows, and listening to tejano and country music.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, aunts and uncles.
Delores is survived by her son, Francisco Suarez and his wife, Vanessa Fuentes- Suarez; step-sons, Antonio and Betsy Suarez, Richard and Sylvia Garcia, and John Garcia; stepdaughter, Betty and Arnold Perez; brothers, Lorenzo and Linda Marquez and Edward Marquez; sister, Vanessa Marquez; aunt, Naomi Gayton; brothers-in-law, Emilio and Becky Suarez, Fernando Suarez, and Antonio Suarez; sister-in-law, Celia Suarez; several grandchildren; and her special furry friend, Foxy Roxy.
The family extends special thanks to Scott and White Hospital, Scott and White Hospice, and Hillcrest Hospital.
Pallbearers will be Andrew Gayton, Reuben Padilla II, Jesse Suarez, George Suarez, Matthew Gonzales, and Victor Fuentes III.
