Delphia Loucille Thomas, 87, of Waco, passed away Sunday, July 29, 2007.
Services will be 10 a.m. Wednesday at Crawford Cemetery by Rev. Curtis Holland. Visitation will be 6:30 to 7:30 p.m. Tuesday at OakCrest Funeral Home.
Lou was born July 4, 1920 to Clyde Talbert and Easter Florance Taulbee Small in Coryell City. She grew up in Crawford where she attended and graduated from Crawford High School.
She married Albert W. Thomas in 1942 and they lived in Waco most of their lives. She was a homemaker. They had a son, Terry. She was a member of Beverly Hills Baptist Church and she loved to read and tend to her flowers.
She was preceded in death by her husband Albert; sister, Nannie Daniell and her parents.
She is survived by a son, Terry and wife Phyllis of China Spring; two grandsons, Dan and wife, Beckie and great-grandson, Blake of Plano; grandson Shannon Thomas of Richardson, and many nieces and nephews.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Greenview Manor and Providence Hospice for their continuous loving care given to Delphia.
