Dena Jones

Dena Jones, age 49, of Waco, passed away Monday, March 22, 2010 in Waco. A funeral will be held 1:00 Monday, March 29, 2010 at the OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel, 4520 Bosque Blvd. Burial will follow in Waco Memorial Park, with a reception to follow at 1012 Beavers St. Visitation will be from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sunday at OakCrest Funeral Home. A memorial video of her life will be shown.

Dena was born June 10, 1960 in Waco to Douglas and Adaline (Neumann) Coats. She worked for Olan Mills Studios for 13 years and received her Bachelors Degree in Account Management from Tarleton State University in 2008. Dena was a loving and devoted wife and mother who gave of herself for the benefit of others.

She was preceded in death by her father; grandmother, Ella Shaw; and her first husband, Kim Hoag.

Survivors are her husband, David Wayne Jones; daughter, Desiree LaShaun Wilcox and husband, Buddy; son, Jared Hoag and wife, Casey Villers and son, Garth Wayne Jones, all of Waco; sister, Debbie Davison; brothers, Ronnie Coats and Jimmy Coats, all of Waco; grandchildren, Travis Altschul, Silas Wilcox, Abigail Wilcox and Ryan Wilcox.
