Diane Brown, 58, of Waco, passed away Monday, April 12, 2010, at home and is finally at peace after a valiant battle against cancer.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday, April 17, 2010, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd. Visitation with the family will follow the service.
Diane was born in Athens, Tex., on July 25, 1951, and has lived in Waco since 1980. She loved our veterans, and enjoyed being a dental assistant at the Waco Veterans Hospital for 35 years.
She is survived by her husband of 25 years, Barry Brown; a son, William David Brown; parents, Robert and Patricia Richards Baccus; sister, Daphne Huffman and husband, Ken; brother, David Baccus and wife, Kathy; and nieces, Sarah Garbers and husband, Brad, and Rachael Jones and husband, Andrew.
Memorials may be made to Caritas.
