Dick Lenoir

Dick Wallace LeNoir, age 89, of Mart passed away October 3, 2010 in a Mart nursing home. Graveside services will be held 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 5, 2010 at the Mart Cemetery with Rev. Richard Roland officiating. Masonic services will be held under the auspices of the Mart Lodge #636, A. F. & A. M. A visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Dick was born July 1, 1921 in Thelma, Texas to Dick and Lillian LeNoir. He married Kathryn Moore in October of 1948 and she preceded him in death on Dec. 1, 1970. He married Doris Hodge in April of 1973 and she preceded him in death on August 3, 2006. Dick was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mart and Mart Lodge #636, A.F. & A. M. He worked for the Limestone County Electric Cooperative for 34 years, retiring in 1982. Dick enjoyed his summer cabin on the Navasota River, gardening and family gatherings.

He was also preceded in death by his parents and one brother.

Survivors include his sons and daughters in law, Richard M. and Carolyn LeNoir of Maryland, Sid and Janet LeNoir of Mart; daughter, LeAnn LeNoir of Mart; stepdaughter and husband, Jonnie and Will Barron of Prosper, Tx.; grandson and wife , James Michael and Michelle LeNoir of Arlington; granddaughter and husband, Elaine and Houston Fullerton of Burleson; great granddaughter, Ashleigh Fullerton.

In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the First Baptist Church of Mart or the charity of ones choice.
