Dillon Chase Davis passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014 at the age of 25 in a single car accident in Crawford, Texas.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, Aug. 13, at OakCrest Funeral Home with Pastor Marvin Donnell officiating. Burial will follow at Eddy Cemetery. A visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Boulevard.
Dillon was a loving and devoted son, husband and father. Dillon along with his wife Ashley and children Brooklyn and Austin reside in Moody, Texas. Dillon graduated from Bruceville – Eddy High School in 2007. It was at this time he joined the Plumbers & Pipefitters local union 529 in Waco. He attended college at TSTC where he obtained his certification in welding.
Dillon was employed by Fluor prior to going to work at SpaceX in McGregor, Texas as a welder. He made his family proud with all his accomplishments. Dillon was a hard working young man who was loved by many and would do anything for anyone.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Levi Hayes Davis, Richard Edward and Ella Davis Dawson, and Bill Gurley, and Elizabeth Tye; uncles and aunt, Alfred Davis, Chester Davis, Mary Davis Lewis and Willie Overby.
Dillon is survived by his wife, Ashley Davis; children, Brooklyn Davis and Austin Davis; parents, Alvin Davis of Eddy and David and Pamela (Edwards) Todaro of Bryan; father- and mother-in-law, Ronald and Diana Tye of Waco; brother and sisters, Drake, Skye and Sailor Todaro of Bryan; brother-in-law, Michael Tye of Waco; grandparents, Marsha Gurley of Lorena and Ross and Vancie Todaro of Bryan; uncles and aunts, Tommy Davis, Jimmy and Kim Davis, Jack and Stacy Dawson, Tommy and Nancy Alexander, Chip Edwards, Doug and Deana Stewart, Robert and Leisa Bland, Ray and Belinda Athey, Robert and Judy Brinegar, Jan Rushin and Robbie and Christy Frazier, plus numerous great aunts and uncles and cousins.
A rosary and memorial service will be 3 p.m. Thursday, August 14, at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church, 306 South Parker, Bryan, Texas.
