Donald Cade

Donald Wesley Cade, 61, of Waco passed away peacefully on February 2, 2022, at Baylor Scott & White Hospital in Temple surrounded by loved ones after battling the effects of a hemorrhagic stroke. Services for the viewing will be held on Thursday, February 17th from 6:00-8:00 pm. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 18th at 10:00 am at St. Francis Church and burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery.

Don was born on March 31, 1960, in Abilene, Texas to Clarence and Carole Cade. He graduated from Trimble Tech, in Ft. Worth, in 1977. Afterwards in 1979, he enlisted in the Air Force where he served two years before being honorably discharged. In 1987 he met and married his wife, Angela Cade. Shortly afterwards they moved to Waco and began living a beautiful life together.

Together Don and Angela had 2 daughters whom he loved dearly. Don was a man who enjoyed hosting family barbeques, liked to go fishing, a diehard Dallas Cowboy fan, was the life of the party, kept everyone laughing, and his smile was as bright as the sun. Don was an amazing one of-a-kind father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle and friend to many. He will be missed dearly.

Don’s grandparents Joe Willie and Jessie Cade, his brother Rusty Cade, and his mother-in-law Mamie Pecina are all waiting for him with open arms at heavens gates.

Don leaves behind his wife Angela Cade; his 2 daughters, Daneta and Ariel Cade; his 6 granddaughters, Serenity, Ki’yana, Alessa, Jareia, Zalayah and Emelia; as well as his brother-in-laws, Timothy and Eric Pecina; he also leaves behind his parents, Clarence and Carole Cade; his brothers, Reginald B. Cade Sr., Chris, Jermarcus, and Stedman Hodge; his sister, Jackie Branch; nieces, Shemeka Branch, Ne’cole Cade and Deshundra Coleman; and nephews, Reginald B. Cade Jr. and Mike; among many other family members and friends.
