Donald Clayson Fouts went to be with his Lord and Savior Saturday, May 18, 2024 at the age of 86. He was born to Clayson Fouts and Nettie Mae Williams on September 18, 1937.
Donald graduated from Waco High School in 1955. He attended TCU for a year. He joined the Navy June of 1956. After four years he was honorably discharged in June 1960.
He moved to Everett, Washington where he worked for Boeing from 1961 to 1970. In 1970 he moved back to Waco, Texas and started working for the Sante Fe Railroad as a trackman. While working for the Sante Fe Railroad he taught safety rules to other employees for several years. Donald worked from September 1971 to September 1999. He was hired by AT & Sante Fe, and because they merged, he retired from BNSF.
After retirement he worked at different Waco golf course’s part time. Golf was his passion. Donald loved his family and friends. He joined Western Heights Baptist Church on April 30, 1989.
Donald is survived by his wife, Donna Fouts of 44 years; daughter, Jennifer Krahn and husband, Michael; granddaughter, Cynthia Whitt and significant other, Ben Ernst; great-grandson, James; great-granddaughter, Rose; grandson, Justin Krahn and wife, Mary; and great-grandson, Jesse.

Visitation will be Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd., Waco, TX from 6pm-8pm.
A Graveside service will be Thursday, May 23, 2024 at Waco Memorial Park, 6623 I-35, Waco, TX at 10am.
