Don Kramer, 63, was born in raised in Waco, Texas and attended Reicher High School where he graduated Valedictorian in the Class of 1966. In December 1984, Don met and fell in love with Tinker Kramer, his wife of 25 years.
Don started as clerk for 7Eleven through the Southland Corporation, working up to Trainer and District Manager before the local stores were bought out by Circle K. He continued to work for Circle K as District Zone manager before moving to manager of Jumpin John's convenience and check cashing. After many years, Don took the initiative and created his own business. In June 2009, Don worked hard to create and build Kramer's Check Cashing. He knew all of his customers personally and always served everyone with a smile on his face. Don was always a hardworking man who would do anything for his family. Those who knew him could attest to the fact that he had a selfless heart full of love. He always put others before himself, even while undergoing the pain of cancer. Don was a member of St. Louis Catholic Church in Waco and he always served the Lord. His favorite quote was "Don't ask yourself what the world needs. Ask yourself what makes you come alive and go do that because what the world needs is people who have come alive."
Don will always be remembered by his parents, Reinard and Georgia Kramer; wife, Tinker Kramer; daughter, Amy Ward and husband, Brandon Ward; daughter, Casey Kramer; daughter, Chelsea Kramer; son, Philip Kramer and wife, Leanne Kramer; granddaughter, Landree Kramer and grandson, Chance Kramer; brother, Ron Kramer and wife, Rita Kramer; niece and nephews, Kim, Justin, and Jason Kramer.
