Donald E. Kramer
August 31, 1950 – February 19, 2015

Donald (Don) Eugene Kramer, 64, of West, passed away Thursday, February 19, 2015 after a courageous battle with cancer. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, February 25, at OakCrest Funeral Home with Msgr. Isadore Rozycki officiating. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Boulevard.

Don was born in Newman Grove, NE, to Fred and Dagny Kramer. He married May 25, 1968 to Louise May Brewster, and they moved to Waco in 1982. He worked at Double Circle Coop for many years before becoming a truck driver until his retirement in 2011. His first love in life was his family, closely followed by being a fan of the Nebraska Cornhuskers. He lived his life with humor and strength.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Louise; brothers, Arnold, Alan, Bob and Ken Kramer; and sisters, Carolyn Kramer and Kathy Shotkoski.

Don leaves three daughters, Teresa Kramer, Colleen Kohls and husband Tim, Sarah Jesko and husband Brian; and grandchildren, Sean Montgomery, Chelsea Jesko, Ashley Rodriguez, Tyler Jesko, and Megan Kohls; brother, Loran Kramer and wife Peg; sisters, Lois Klassen and husband Bud, Helen Hollis, Ruth Holthusen and husband Lance, and Dorothy Wright and husband Loren; and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Mike Allen, Larry Brewster, Brian Jesko, Tyler Jesko, Tim Kohls, and Sean Montgomery.

The family appreciates the loving care given our dad by the staff of the Providence Hospice.
