January 6, 1930 - February 12, 2015.

Don (Bub) Lee Parsons, 85, passed away February 12, 2015 of natural causes. He will be buried beside his beloved wife, Joyce. Graveside services will be 11 a.m., Friday, February 20, 2015 at Waco Memorial Park with Marvin Donnelle officiating. Visitation will be 5-7 p.m., Thursday, February 19, 2014 at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.

Don was born in Waco, Texas, January 6, 1930 to Harold and Nadine (Clair) Parsons. He graduated from Waco High School. He married Joyce Ann Siegle October 14, 1948. Before retiring on Lake Richland Chambers to enjoy his life-long hobby of fishing, he continued the local family business from his father, Parsons Office Systems, Inc., where he, his wife, and children worked together for many years. He will be missed by all who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Joyce; his brother, Al Parsons and wife, Jeannie; his brother Harry Clair; and his son-in-law, Dean Wheeler; sister in law, Dawn Kilpatrick and husband, John.

Survivors include his daughter, Donna Whatley and husband, Bob; son, Raymond Parsons and wife, Randi; daughter, Penny Fisk and husband, Rick; six grandchildren, Kimberly Whatley, Renae Nichols and husband, Cody, Ryan Parsons and wife, Kati, Westly Wheeler, Lauren Bagley and husband, Derek, and Whitney Wheeler; one great-grandchild, Jackson Bagley; brother, Harold Parsons Jr. and wife, Peggy; sister-in-law, Sue Clair.
