Donald L. Wood, age 91, passed away Thursday morning, December 18, 2008 at his daughter's home in Thornton, Texas.
He was born June 25, 1917 in East St. Louis, IL. to Charles E. Wood and Annetta J. Meyer.
He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II.
The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Friday, December 19, 2008 at the OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd., Waco, TX. with the Rev. Curtis Holland officiating.
Burial will be later in Fairview Heights, IL.
