Donna Byrum, 79, passed away Thursday. Graveside services will be 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 20, 2008, at the China Spring Cemetery with the Rev. Carl Freeto officiating. Visitation will be at the Central United Methodist Church, 5740 Bagby from 1 to 2:10 p.m.
Donna was born in Toronto, Ohio to David and Alice Templey on July 15, 1929.
She married John James Byrum on October 23, 1952 in Toronto.
She worked as a church secretary for First Baptist Church in Robinson and for the Waco Baptist Association. She was a member of Central United Church Church where she and her husband John were active with Senior Saints.
Donna was preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Jack and Tommy.
Donna is survived by her husband; John, sons; John James Byrum II and wife, Sandy, David Scott Byrum and wife Annice Cheri, and Christopher Lee Byrum and wife Marilyn; daughter Patricia Louise Harvey and husband Stephen; sisters Doris Barnhouse and Wanda Firm; eleven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
Memorials may be made to Central United Methodist Building Fund.
