Dora Warren

Dora Louise Warren, 88, passed away Thursday, November 26, 2009.

Services will be 1 p.m. Wednesday, December 2, at Robinson Cemetery with the Rev. Su Milam officiating.

Visitation will be 11 a.m. to 12 p.m. Wednesday at OakCrest Funeral Home.

Dora worked for Lonestar Gas and retired after over 20 years of service. She and two of her surviving sisters lived next door and just around the corner from one another. They were very close and were always watching out for each other. After Mary passed away, Flora and Dora became roommates at Crestview Nursing Home. Flora passed away three years ago which left Dora the only surviving member of their immediate family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Freda Koechig; siblings that preceded Dora in death are John Edward Koechig, Ann Hutcheson, Walter Herman Koechig, Mary Emma Jones and Flora Minnie Sharpe.

Dora is survived by a niece, Patricia Gutridge of San Antonio; nephews, Kenneth Koechig of Houston and Floyd Hutcheson of Las Vegas, Nevada; great nieces and nephew, Sherri Caysonis of Houston, Brad Hutcheson, Kristin Hicks, Kim Koechig all of Austin, Karen Koechig of Houston, Becky Deneen of Austin and Connie Galbraith of Cleburne, Ryan Blank, Beth Gray and Brandi Blank all of San Antonio.
