Dorothy Helen Blasche
July 24, 1923 – January 30, 2013

Dorothy Helen (Horan) Blasche, beloved wife of Tom Blasche for 70 years, passed away on Wednesday, January 30, 2013. The funeral service will be held 1 p.m. Saturday at OakCrest Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 – 7 p.m. Friday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Drive.

Dorothy was born in Kansas City, Kansas in 1923. Dorothy taught math at Richfield High School in the Waco Independent School District for 25 years. Dorothy thoroughly enjoyed gardening, photography and being with her family.

She is survived by her husband, Thomas L. Blasche; and her children and their spouses, John and Ann Blasche, Bob and Kay Blasche, David and Jill Blasche, Paul and Nancy Blasche, Katherine Blasche, and Don and Carol Blasche; Additionally, she is survived by
five grandchildren; and four great grandchildren.
