Dorothy Hall, 84, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2008. Services will be 11 a. m. Friday, Nov. 28, 2008 at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be 10 - 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 28 at the Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum.
Dorothy was born in Breckenridge, Texas on December 19, 1923 to Luther and Anna (Stout) Burt. She was married to Charles Hall on February 15, 1942. She was an active in the League of Women Voters, Tejanas Study Club, Meals on Wheels and the First Presbyterian Church.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Hall, on September 27, 2001; her parents; and her sister, Clariece Rumberg.
Dorothy is survived by a daughter, Jennifer Kammer and husband, Gerry of Georgetown; two sons, Charles Hall and wife, Debbie of Kerrville, and Frank Hall of Sacramento, Cal.; three grandchildren, Gerry Kammer, Jr. and wife, Shannon of Manchaca, Tx., Erin Jeffers and husband, Travis, and Lindsey Hall; and three great-grandchildren, Gerry Kammer III, Maxwell Kammer, and Ryan Jeffers, all of Grand Prairie.
Memorials may be made to First Presbyterian Church, 1100 Austin Ave., Waco, Texas 76708.
