Dorothy Anne Harris, 64, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2014. A memorial service will be held 2 p.m., Friday, November 21, 2014 at Old West Cowboy Church, Robinson, TX, with Rev. Tom Warnock officiating.

Dorothy Anne Harris was born July 13, 1950 to Herbert and Hazel Dodd Douglas in Marlin, TX. She worked as a retail clerk for Albertson’s until 1992 in Waco. Dorothy enjoyed playing card games, especially “31”, and being with her dogs Minnie and Champ. Dorothy loved her family, friends and especially her grandchildren. There wasn’t a baby she could pass up without holding or talking to, nor was there ever a time you saw her without a smile on her face, no matter how bad she felt. Dorothy could find joy and laughter even at the worst of times.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, John Robert Massingill, Thomas Leroy Harris; sisters, Ruby Kilgore, Sue Douglas, Shirley Lang; brothers, Roy Douglas, Ray Douglas; and grandson, Robert Riley.

She is survived by her son, John Robert Massingill Jr. (Robbie); daughter, Jo Riley and husband, John; grandchildren, Brayden Markwardt Massingill, Caitlyn Rowe, Chance Riley, Jaden Riley, Trevor Riley; brother, Terry Douglas and wife, Cindy; and multiple brothers-in- law, sisters –in- law, nieces, nephews and friends.
