Dorothy Mae (Ishmael) Johnson, 79, of Speegleville, died Wednesday night, January 29, 2003, at her residence.
SERVICES
Services will be at 1 p.m. Friday, January 31, 2003, at the OakCrest Funeral Home chapel with Rev. Richard Roland officiating. Burial will follow at Rosemound Cemetery. A memorial videotape commemorating her life will be shown just prior to the service.
PERSONAL LIFE
Dorothy was born June 23, 1923, in Enid, Oklahoma, the daughter of the late Stanley and Maude (Steele) Ishmael. She married James D. Johnson on June 30, 1964 in Durant, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on July 15, 2002.
Dorothy was a homemaker and a member of the Assembly of God.
SURVIVORS
She is survived by her daughter, Emailee Taylor of Fayetteville, Ark.; a son, Freddie Holland of Speegleville; two brothers, Carl Ishmael of Azel and Kenneth Ishmael of Canton; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and a great-great-grandchild.
