Dorothy Nolan, 77, of Waco, passed away Tuesday, April 12, 2011. Services will be 3 p.m. Friday, April 15, 2011 at OakCrest Funeral Home with Minister Charlie Griffin officiating. Burial will follow at Gholson Cemetery. Visitation with her family will be 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. THURSDAY, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Dorothy was born January 1, 1934 in McLennan County to Johnnie and Ruby German. At a very young age, she was adopted by James and Stella Hall. She was married to Philip C. Nolan for 43 years at the time of his death. She married Bobbie L. Nolan in 2001. Dorothy enjoyed antique shopping and was known for being an excellent cook.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Philip; one son, Wesley Dean Nolan; and several brothers.
Dorothy is survived by her husband, Bobbie L. Nolan; two sons, Philip Nolan and Mark Nolan; daughter, Lodusca Collier; eight grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two brothers, Arnold German and Thomas German; two sisters, Eve Goodwin and Elizabeth.
