Dorothy Dulock Tipshus

Dorothy Dulock Tipshus, 74, of Hewitt, passed away Saturday, February 21, 2009, at her residence in Hewitt, Texas.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Jerome Catholic Church with Father Rakshaganathan Selvaraj and Father Irudayaraj Nelpatti-Thomas as celebrants. Burial will be at St. Martin's Cemetery in Tours.
Rosary will be recited at 6:30 p.m. Monday, Feb. 23, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Her life
Dorothy was born July 23, 1934 in Hallsburg to Fred Dulock and Frances Dolezal Dulock. Dorothy graduated from Axtell High School in 1952 and then attended Providence School of Nursing, graduating in 1955 as a registered nurse. Dorothy provided loving patient care at several area nursing homes during the years. She was a member of St. Jerome Catholic Church.
Preceded in Death
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Dr. Alphons F. Tipshus; sisters, Frances Stamm and Irene Vickery, and brother, James A. Dulock.
Survivors
Dorothy is survived by two sons, Michael and James, both of Hewitt; brothers, Walter Dulock of Elk, Fred Dulock and wife, Genny of Waco; sister, Helen Dulock of Atlanta, Ga.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
