Dorothy White, 82, of Waco, passed away on January 19, 2024 at her home surrounded by her loved ones. Graveside funeral services will be held 11am on Thursday, January 25, 2024 at Rosemound Cemetery officiated by Rev. Dr. Brian Hesse, from St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Dorothy was born in Temple, TX to Roy Pack and Willie Mae Kaluza on April 20,1941.
She married the love of her life, Doyle W. White on May 19, 1962. She spent most of her life as a homemaker and taking care of her family. Dorothy enjoyed going gambling, playing bingo, and spending time playing Candy Crush. She was also a long time member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Her unwavering faith was a source of strength during these challenging times. Dorothy was an amazing Wife, Mom, Nana, Sister, and friend to many. As we mourn her passing, let us also celebrate the beautiful life she lived and the love she leaves behind.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, a son, and a brother.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Floyd White; daughter, Sissy Maxwell and husband, Michael; six grandchildren, Victoria and her husband, Sean, Tori, Jacob and his girlfriend, Gracie, Michael, Daytona, and Adalyn; five great-grandchildren; five brothers; a sister, Patricia Foster; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, and family members.
Pallbearers will be Floyd W., Jacob T., Michael M., Sean P., Michael H., and Eric M.
Honorary Pallbearers Braxton and Grayson.
The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Providence Hospital and Hospice for providing excellent care during a very difficult time.
