Douglas Rowland Vick
November 9, 1953 – March 2, 2009
Douglas Rowland Vick, 55, of Lorena, passed away Monday March 2, 2009. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Oakwood Cemetery. Visitation will be 10 am to 12 noon Thursday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Doug was born in San Antonio. He was member of Brazos Meadows Baptist Church and worked for Alcoa Fastening Systems in Waco for 35 years.
Douglas was preceded in death by his daughter Amanda and father Joseph Walter Tarin.
Doug is survived by his wife, Valinda Vick of Lorena; mother, Vanell Vick and husband, Palmer of San Antonio; brothers, Gary C. Vick and wife, Carolyn of Terrell, Tx, and William Tarin and wife, Elizabeth of Colorado and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial may be made to the American Diabetes Association, 2499 Capital of Texas Highway South, Bld A Ste 204, Austin, TX 78746.
