E.J. Murphree, 88, of Waco, passed away Friday, January 31, 2003, at his residence.
SERVICES
Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Rosemound Cemetery in Waco with the Rev. Van Vowell, interim pastor of Grace Temple Baptist Church, officiating. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, Feb. 2, from 5 to 7 p.m. at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque.
PERSONAL LIFE
E.J. was born on July 11, 1914 in Waco, the son of the late James F. and Josie Annlee (Jorden) Murphree, and he has lived here all of his life. He was retired and was a member of Grace Temple Baptist Church of Waco.
SURVIVORS
He leaves his wife, Cordy Murphree; a son, Ronald Murphreee of Waco; and grandchildren, Mark Murphree of Victoria, Shelly Murphree of Plano, Mechelle Hussain of Plano, and Gina Fish of Indiana.
