Earl Miller Torrence, 88 of Waco, passed away Wednesday, July 14, 2004 at a local care center.
Services will be 2:00 pm Friday at OakCrest Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Steve Ramsdell officiating.
Burial will be in the Moody Cemetery by OakCrest Funeral Home of Waco.
Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
He was born on December 12, 1915 in Moody, Texas to Thad and Ora (Miller) Torrence. He was united in marriage to Doris Conally.
Earl worked for the City of Waco for many years. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Waco.
Earl is survived by his wife, Doris Torrence of Waco; son, Earl Miller Torrence II and wife, Michele of Hewitt; grandson, Tyler Torrence of Hewitt, and many cousins and friends.
