Edna Marcell Schwarck, 78 of Whitney passed away Tuesday. Graveside services will be 10 a.m. Friday at Waco Memorial Park with Joe Moore officiating. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday at OakCrest Funeral Home.
Marcell was born on August 7, 1927 in Blevins to Jesse Arthur and Ethel Rene (Stanridge) Keys. She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Marcell was preceded in death by her parents, sister Bessie Tutor and brother Virgil Keys.
She is survived by her son, Lewis Courtade, Jr. of Whitney; daughter, Jan Gohring and husband Steve of Waco; four grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Oliver of Clute, Laverne Witt of Waco and Joyce Stevenson of McAllen; brother, J. W. Keys of Houston.
