Edward Lewis Kelley, 68, passed from this life on Tuesday, July 27, 2004 in Waco after a long illness. Services will be held at 10 a.m. at Waco Memorial Park Mausoleum with Rev. Jim Daniels officiating. The family will receive visitors on Friday, from 6 to 8 p.m. at OakCrest Funeral Home.

Edward was born on March 11, 1936 in Anona, Texas to Arthur and Zelphia Kelley. He attended the Waco State Home school and graduated in 1955 and married Brownie Wyatt in 1956. Edward served as an engineer with the Texas Department of Transportation for 35 years.

He is survived by his wife, Brownie; sons, Clint Kelley and his wife Debbie; Mark Kelley; daughter, Charlotte Hannigan; grandsons, Eric Kelley and Austin Kelley; granddaughters, Elizabeth Kelley, all of Waco and Whitney Buck and her husband Jay of Mexia; one great granddaughter, Taylor Elizabeth Buck of Mexia; two sisters, Ann Jones of Irving and Mary Ann Lee of Euless; as well as several nieces and nephews. Edward is preceded in death by his parents and his brother William.
