Edward (Eddie) Victor Ortiz, Jr., 28, of Waco, passed away August 30, 2019. Funeral services will be 10 am Tuesday, Sept. 10, 2019 at OakCrest Funeral Home, with burial to follow at Rosemound Cemetery. Visitation will be 6 – 8 pm Monday, Sept. 9 at OakCrest Funeral Home.

Eddie was born in Waco, Texas on July 24, 1991 to Manuela Rosales and Edward Ortiz, Sr. He was a sweet little boy, spoiled by his mother and his sisters. Eddie attended Waco schools. In later life, he was somewhat a free spirit.

Eddie is preceded in death by his grandparents.

He is survived by his loving mother, Manuel Rosales and father Edward Ortiz, Sr.; sisters, Dedra Ortiz, Paula Ortiz, Lyssette Ortiz, and Serena Ortiz; brothers, Emillio Ortiz and Sergio Ortiz. Also surviving is his grandmother, Lillian Guerra, and great grandmother, Alejandra Monreal, as well as many nieces and nephews.
