Edward Vasquez

Edward (Eduardo) Vasquez, 63, of Waco, Texas entered into Heaven on January 28, 2024. His funeral gathering will be on Sunday, February 4, 2024, from 3:00 pm to 6:00pm at OakCrest Funeral Home.

Edward was born on March 16,1960 in Waco, Texas to Julian and Petra (Martinez) Vasquez. He was a resident of the Mexia State School for many years, and later in life came to live at Woodland Springs.

He was a devoted fan of the Dallas Cowboys from the Landry era to the last Sunday they played. He enjoyed visits from his family, he had an ability to make family and friends laugh with ease. Even with his limitations he was always a joy to be around.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Julian and Petra Vasquez; brothers, Richard, Albert, and Pablo; and sisters, Elvira, Antonia, Leona, and Rosa.

Edward is survived by his brothers, Jose, Manuel and Rey; and sister, Carmen.

Interment will be at a later date at Rosemound Cemetery.
