Edward Eddie Zamora, 57, of Waco, passed away July 16, 2022. Visitation will be 6-9 p.m. Monday, July 25, at OakCrest Funeral Home with a Prayer Service at 7 p.m. Family and friends will gather 9 a.m. Tuesday, July 26, at the entrance of Oakwood Cemetery in Waco for a procession lead by a horse-drawn coach to his burial site for the committal service.

Eddie was born in San Antonio to Raymundo Zamora and Maria Elena Gonzales (deceased).

Eddie is survived by his wife, Karine Zamora; children, Joshua Zamora, Stephanie Ramos, Eddie Zamora, Jr., Martin, and Genesis Rivera-Zamora.

Eddie was a devoted Christian, and a great family man. He enjoyed serving and giving and thinking of others unselfishly. Eddie loved fishing, taking walks, and being with his family.

He met the love of his life, Karine, his wife of 17 years, at Viento Fuerte Church. Married March 3, 2006, by Pastor Tom Guitierrez, they remained together until his departure to his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Eddie to Karine was her prince charming providing the castle of her dreams, truly living happily ever after in his way giving her the moon and stars. “Mi Amor this is what I live for” was the desire of his heart, to love his wife and children as well.

Eddie will be greatly missed by his brothers and sisters, Connie Treviño, Esther Luis, Robert Zamora, Rachel Torres, Lupita Zamora (deceased), and Raymundo Zamora; also, his grandchildren; and great-grandchildren; cousins; aunts and uncles.
