Efigenia "Kina" Silguero, 83, passed away Thursday, October 29, 2009.
Mass will be 10 a.m. Monday, November 2, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church by Father Lawrence Solar. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. Rosary and visitation will be 5 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, at OakCrest Funeral Home.
Efigenia was born in Belton to Rafael Fuentes Vela and Natalia Morin Perez.
Efigenia and her late husband, Jose Maria Silguero, lived most of the lives in Waco where they owned and operated El Charro Restaurant & Bakery on LaSalle Avenue for over 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Eristeo Rafael Fuentes Morin,
Antonio Fuentes Morin, and Fernando Fuentes Morin and a sister, Maria Elena Martinez .
She is survived by her daughter, Sylvia Montalvo and husband, Robert; grandchildren, Priscilla Melendez, Michelle Melendez, Michael Key, Jennifer Montalvo, and Jaelyn Montalvo; great-grandchild, Aniya Alvarez; and brothers, Juan de la Cruz Fuentes Morin and Jose Elias Fuentes Morin.
