April 26, 1917 - May 26, 2006

Eileen Steen, 89, of Waco passed away Friday May 26, 2006. Services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at Grace Temple Baptist Church with Rev. Van Vowell officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be 5 to 7:00 p.m. Monday at OakCrest Funeral home, 4520 Bosque Blvd. The family will be at Eileen's home.

Mrs. Steen was born April 26, 1917 at County Line near Lorena to Martha Lena and Robert Ervin Sharp. She was a active member of Grace Temple Baptist Church and loved the Lord unconditionally and a great friend to everyone she met. After retiring from Owens. Illinois she worked and retired from Richfield High School.


She was preceded to Heaven by her parents, husband Dub Steen her brothers Leroy Sharp, Red Sharp, O.L. Sharp and wife Evelyn, her beloved great grandson Steven Umberger.

Mrs. Steen is survived by her children Barbara and Dwayne Schwarting, Brenda and Jerry Wilson, grandchildren Kat and Mike DuBray, Tammie and Bill Walters, Tracy Miller, Tonya and Adam Butler, Todd and Stacey Nickel, Brad and Shelley Crye, great grandchildren Gene Umberger, Ashley Walters, Kevin Walters, Nicky DuBray, Austin and Tyler Crye, Skylee and Trenton Nickel sisters - in - law Edna and Mary Sharp, and numerous nieces and nephews and hundreds of friends.

Pallbearers will be Mike DuBray, Gene Umberger, Adam Butler, Bill Walters, Kevin Walters, Jack Wake, Ron Zarecor, Buddy Miller.

A special thanks to all the employees of Regent Care for their loving care.
