Eleanor Henson, 80, of Waco, passed away Friday, October 12, 2012 at Providence Health Center. Funeral services will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, October 17, at OakCrest Funeral Home with Msgr. Isidore Rozycki officiating. Burial will follow at Oakwood Cemetery. The Rosary will be recited at 6 p.m. Tuesday evening followed by visitation with Mr. Henson until 8 p.m. at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Eleanor was born March 28, 1932 in Marshfield, Wisconsin to Benjamin Bonk and Margaret Stancel Bonk. She attended schools in Wisconsin and moved to Waco at an early age. During her career, she worked at Alamo Steel, Gibson’s Discount Center and for J-Hawk retiring in 1994 due to illness. Later and until her death, Eleanor volunteered at Providence Health Center for almost 19 years. She married James W. Henson on the 14th of June 1962 in Waco.
She is survived by her husband, James W. Henson of Waco; and many dear friends.
