Elijah Harris

Elijah Jackson Ray Harris, 2, a very happy baby, went home to the Lord December 5, 2009.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at OakCrest Funeral Home with Rev. Terry Wilkerson officiating. Burial will be in Oakwood Cemetery. Viewing will be 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday, and the family will receive friends from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Elijah was the type of baby that when you walked into the room and saw his smile, it would brighten up the room. He was a very lovable baby.

Elijah was preceded in death by his grandmother, Violet McMearn, and uncle, Joseph Lee McMearn.

He is survived by his mother, Amanda Underwood; father, Vincent D. Harris; brothers, Christian and Joseph; grandparents, Patricia and Henry Blevins and Billy Owens; aunts and uncles, Rubin and Stephanie Michelle Underwood, Bobby Underwood Jr., Billy Underwood, Christina Gann, Dawn Gann, Roxanne Holmes, Erica Harris, Katrina Harris, Mack Harris; and many cousins and friends.

Pallbearers will be Mack Harris, Anthony Hatcher, James Degrate, Bobby Underwood Jr., Billy Underwood, and Rubin Underwood.
