Elizabeth Aston
Elizabeth Lee Rinker Aston of Waco passed away Saturday, January 18, 2003 at a local nursing center. She was 83.
SERVICES
A graveside service will be Tuesday, January 21, 2003, at 11:30 a.m. at the Waco Memorial Park with the Rev. Regina Young officiating. Visitation will be Tuesday from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at OakCrest Funeral Home at 4520 Bosque, followed by a procession to the cemetery.
PERSONAL LIFE
Elizabeth was born October 20, 1919 to John Emanuel and Rose (Hayhoe) Rinker, in Washington, DC. She married Verna Hugh Aston on September 26, 1946 in Washington, D.C. When Elizabeth and her husband met she was a nurse. She accompanied her husband, who was in the military, all over the world for 31 years, which gave her an opportunity to do volunteer work for many different organizations. She has been a Waco resident for 28 years. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and her brother, Bill Rinker.
SURVIVORS
She is survived by three sons John Aston and wife Phyllis of Gainesville, Mike Aston and wife Gayle of Conifer, Co., and Steve Aston of Cleburne; a brother-in-law, Bill Aston and wife Peggy of Waco, mother-in-law, Lucille Parkhill of Waco, six grandchildren, and nine great-grandchildren.
PALLBEARERS
Pallbearers will be Jeff Aston, Keith Aston, Steven Aston, Jonathan Aston, Jared and Bill Aston.
