Elizabeth Darlene Cochran was born October 27, 1971 in Ancon Canal Zone, Panama to Gail Darlene (Blackburn) Cochran and Thurman J. Cochran, Jr. She entered her heavenly home on December 7, 2024, surrounded by family.
Elizabeth was raised in Waco where she was very active in Antioch Community Church. She graduated from Crawford High School and earned a certificate in American Sign Language from McLennan Community College. She had a servant’s heart and a giving spirit. Her faith was so strong that she was able to face the many obstacles in her life with the calm assurance that “it will be okay”. She loved to shop, plan parties, cook and enjoyed fishing with her dad, as long as he baited the hook and took the fish off. She also enjoyed boat rides with Bill.
Elizabeth is survived by her dad; brother, Matt and wife, Tania; niece, Taylan; and nephew, Caseton. She is also survived by her aunts, Charolotte Erlanson and Shelia Koon, as well as special friend, Bill Wareham. She was preceded in death by her mother and both sets of grandparents. Heaven has gained a bright shining light and her family will truly miss their ray of sunshine.
The family would like to thank the staff of Baylor Scott & White All Saints Hospital in Ft. Worth, Transplant Wing, for their exceptional care as she battled liver disease and Community Hospice of Waco that made her last days comfortable.
