Elizabeth "Libby" Jean Hill

Elizabeth Jean Hill passed from this life, surrounded by her family on April 6th, 2025 at the age of 75. Libby was born on December 30th, 1949 to Herman Keeton and Gladys Tilley Keeton. She attended and graduated from University High School in Waco, Texas. It was in high school she met the love her life, Billy.

Libby married Billy Roy Hill on June 1st, 1968. They relocated to Mart, Texas and built a home for their family. They had two sons, Billy and Randy Hill. Libby spent her life being a devoted mother and caretaker of her home. Libby had the greenest thumb around and took pride in her gardens, flower beds, and houseplants. She would spend hours at her sewing machine and always had some kind of craft project in the works. She loved to paint and it was not uncommon for the family to notice the kitchen cabinets or walls to be a different color at every visit. Libby also had a love for thrift shops and wouldn't dream of passing up a garage sale. Billy often had to take a trailer and pick up her treasures.

Libby will be fondly remembered for her strong will, generosity, and unconditional love and support for her family and friends. From being a second mother figure to her siblings, a caring mother and wife, and the best grandma in the world, she dedicated her life to being the rock of our family.

Libby left this earth to join in Heaven those who have left before her: her husband, Billy; mother and father; sister, Linda Keeton; brothers, Billy Keeton and Dennis Keeton; grandson, Nikolas Hill; niece, Kristi Gonzales; and nephew, Eric Keeton.

She is survived by her son Billy Hill of Mart and his children Brittney, Cody, Hailey, Matthew, and Sara; son Randy Hill and wife Kris of Mart and their children Emma and Johnathan; sister, Peggy Keeton of Mart; sister, Wanda Page and husband Rick of Farmington, New Mexico; and sister, Elaine Albrecht of Clifton. Libby helped raise her nieces, Jennifer, Jessica, and Kristi that resulted in a huge loving family including 15 grandchildren and 20 great grandchildren. She also leaves behind countless extended family members and cherished friends.

Per her wishes, there will be no formal services. The family will be forever grateful for Leah and Luke whose visits made her smile during her last days.
