Elizabeth Lewis, 86 died Saturday March 29, 2008 at The Texan Rehab Center in Waco, Texas.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, April 4, at Oakwood Cemetery in Waco.

Mrs. Lewis was born in Dallas Tx on May 291921. She married A.L. Lewis on April 19, 1946.

Mrs. Lewis was preceded in death by her husband, son Leslie and twin sister, Annie Bell Sikes.

Mrs. Lewis earned her diploma as a L.P.N. and worked at the V.A. Hospital until she retired, then at various nursing homes with her twin sister. Mrs. Lewis and her twin sister continually dressed alike well into their 80's.

She is survived by her children, Lisabeth Fluitt of N.Y. and husband Clyde of Waco, Larry Lewis of San Antonio, Andy Lewis and wife Elise of Waco; brothers Paul Powell and Kenneth Powell of Waco and James Powell of San Antonio; grandchildren, Christopher Fluitt of Plano Tx and Andrew Lewis of Waco, and numerous nieces and nephews.


She was a devoted and faithful daughter, sister, wife and mother and will be deeply missed by those who loved her.
