Elizabeth Nell Maddison of Lorena, 68 passed away Monday March 12, 2012 at her residence. Family visitation will be Thursday March 15, from 6 -8 Pm at OakCrest Funeral Home. Graveside services will be Friday March 16 at 2:00 PM in Rosemound Cemetery with Rev. Darrell Price officiating.

Elizabeth was born December 3, 1943 in Malone, Tx to Jesse and Minnie Smith Madera. On Dec. 9, 1978 in Waco, she married Jackie Lynn Maddison. Her passion was cooking, sewing and making quilts for her family. The joys of her life were her kids, grandkids, and being with her family. She loved playing bingo, family outings, cookouts and family gatherings. She was a homemaker and a Christian. She had resided in Lorena for the past 4 years. She and Jack enjoyed 38 wonderful years together.

She was preceded in death by her parents and son: Gary Baker.

She is survived by her husband, Jack of Lorena; sons; Robert Baker and wife, Dorothy of Robinson, Patrick Baker and wife, Rolly of Eddy, Aaron Maddison of Lorena and Dale Maddison of Waco; daughters, Alexis and Ariel Maddison and Angel Baker and husband, J.J. all of Lorena; brother, J.M. Madera of Corsicana; 8 grandchildren; 10 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Special thanks is given to the ICU unit at Hillcrest Hospital and the Hospice Care Unit.
