Ella Lee Reed , 74, of Waco, Texas, received her wings on March 29, 2024. A memorial service will be held 11 a.m. Friday, April 12, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd., Waco Tx, 76710.

Ella Lee was born October 20, 1949 in Waco, to Mabel (Jones) and Charles Thomas Miller, Sr. She was raised alongside five siblings. Ella graduated from from University High School in 1968. Ella started working at Hillcrest Hospital in Waco at the age of 16 and she remained in the medical field until she retired from Waco Cardiology in 2014.

Ella married Bill Reed who was the love of her life in 1982. Family was the most Important thing to Ella. She loved hosting holidays and having the family together at her house .

Ella was an avid animal lover. She enjoyed reading and spending time with family. Ella helped mentor and guide so many people. She was the deeply loved matriarch of her family and will be extremely missed.

Ella was proceeded in death by her parents, husband, and brother, Donald Miller.

She is survived by siblings, Charles Miller Jr, Debbie Faskas, Diana Miller, and Dorine Miller. Ella had numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews, and great-great-nephews.
