Elsie was born November 16, 1922 in Waco, the only child of John and London Bashara. She graduated from Waco High School in 1942 and was a graduate of the Waco National School of Business in 1943. She married Edward Chris Angelo on May 26, 1946 at St. Paul's Episcopal Church in Waco. They had four children. After a beautiful life of 41 years together, Edward passed away in 1987. Later in life, Elsie married Isadore Wolk, a kind and loving friend, whom she had known for several years. Isadore passed away in 2004.

Elsie lived her entire life in the home she grew up in and dearly loved. She embraced life and filled hers with laughter, music and dancing. She was an expert homemaker and a gracious hostess who loved entertaining family and friends. She adored animals, flowers and feeding birds in her backyard. She especially enjoyed watching classic movies. Elsie was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to many. Her kind spirit will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Faith played an important role throughout her life. For over fifty years, Elsie was a devoted member of St. Alban's Episcopal Church and its woman's guild. She was also a long time member of the Waco Syrian Ladies Auxiliary. For many years she and her husband, Edward, enjoyed social functions and fund raisers associated with the Shriner's Karem Temple of Waco.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Edward and Isadore; and a dear daughter-in-law, Cyndy.

Elsie is survived by her four children. Sons, Dr. John Angelo and wife, Keri of Folsom, Louisiana, Gary Angelo and wife, Gina of Temple, Gregory Angelo of Waco; daughter, Deborah Guerriero and husband, John Edward of Long Island, NY. Elsie also leaves behind six grandchildren; her cousin, Margie Mesalam who was raised as a sister to her; a dear sister-in-law, Juliet; and several nephews, cousins and many friends.

The family wishes to thank Dr. Wayne Falcone, Dr. William LeBeau and Dr. Bond Browder. Their skilled care, kindness and wisdom will be remembered always.

To Elsie's longtime aids, Robyn, Lucy and Tony, we extend our heartfelt gratitude for the constant care and loving devotion they provided each day and night.

A very special thank you to Providence Hospice and its entire staff for dignifying her honor with their gracious compassion, support and respect. Their sincere dedication will forever be remembered as a true blessing.
