Emma Torres Alvey, 67, of Waco, passed away in Waco on Aug
Emma was born in Laredo, TX on March 9, 1949 to Emilio and Dolores Torres.
She married Alan Keith Alvey on February 9, 1968 in Ft. Claton, Panama.
Emma worked as a Medical Assistant for the V.A. Medical Center for 20 years in Augusta, GA. She was a member of St. Mary Catholic
Church in Augusta, GA. They moved to Waco in 2009.
She is survived by her husband, Alan Alvey of Waco; son, Jeffrey Alvey and his wife, Stephanie of Crawford; sisters, Gloria Lewis, Cecial Adams; brother, Fernando Torres, all of San Antonio, TX; grandson, Ian Alvey and granddaughter, Emelia Alvey, both of Crawford.
Emma was preceded in death by her parents, 3 sisters, Mary Fairey, Geralden Rodregues, Yolonda Paitsel and brother Jessie Torres.
