Ernest E. Limon, SR., 67 of Waco passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2007 in Gun Barrel City. Mass of Christian Burial will be 10 am Saturday at St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, 1401 Washington with Msgr. Mark Deering as Celebrant. Military graveside rites will follow at Waco Memorial Park. Rosary will be recited at 6 pm on Friday at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd followed by visitation. A memorial video honoring his life will be shown during the visitation.
Ernest was born on April 19, 1939 in Aquila to Juan Ynez and Maria (Elizondo) Limon. He was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church of the Assumption, avid golfer and loved working on motorcycles. Ernest owned and operated Inman Motorcycle Shop.
Ernest was preceded in death by his parents, son, Dino Ralph Limon and brother, Robert Mendez.
Ernest is survived by his son, Ernesto Limon, Jr. of San Marcos; daughter, Brenda Limon-Cole and granddaughter, Kristina of Waco; sisters, Kay Limon Brady of Houston and Frances Limon Chavez of Waxahachie; brothers, John Limon and Manuel Limon both of Big Spring, Raymond, Jody and Ben Limon all of Lubbock and Jesse Limon of Irving; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Pallbearers will be David Brady, Oscar, Jeff, Michael, Nick and Ralph Limon, Ray Chavez and Brett Brackett.
