Esperanza "Hopie" D. Perez , 61, went to be with the Lord Thursday, April 26, 2012. Services will be 10 a.m. Tuesday at Mighty Wind Worship Center. Visitation will start 6 p.m. Monday at OakCrest Funeral Home, followed by a prayer service at 7p.m.

Esperanza was born November 17, 1950 in Waco to Tomasa Ayala and Daniel Dominguez. She resided in Missouri City, Tex. She was a member of Family Worship Center in Stafford, Tex. She was a strong woman of God, resilient woman always having confidence in her Jesus. She will always be remembered as a woman with a fierce love for her family. She was a pillar of strength, with her unwavering faith: She has fought the good fight and has finished her race.

She is preceded in death by her parents; sister, Gloria Garcia; brother; Mike Dominguez; and step-father, Trinie Ramirez.

She is survived by her husband, Pascual Perez; loving daughter, Priscilla and husband Daniel Smithwick; grandchildren, Adrianna, Alexis, Janessa, and her precious Aiden Boo, also she adored her pet Pearl; sister, Beatrice Chavez and husband Sotero; brother, Daniel Dominguez and wife Mona; brother-in-law, Tony Garcia; sister-in-Law; Susie Dominguez; and a host of many nieces and nephews, Hopie will be greatly missed by everyone who loved her.

Pallbearers will be Tony Garcia Jr., Michael Dominguez, Toby Dominguez, Carlos Chavez, Marcus Dominguez, Angel Hernandez, Justin Dominguez and George Turrubiartez.
