JoAnn Barrington of Speegleville passed away Sunday, June 23, 2024. Services will be 10 am Thursday, June 27, at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd. Visitation will be 5-7 pm Wednesday June 26 at OakCrest.

JoAnn was born to John and Nettie Jewel Little on August 23, 1947 in Corpus Christi, TX. She married Carl Dean Barrington, Sr. on May 28, 1966. JoAnn was a longtime member of the Speegleville Volunteer Fire Department and the Waco Police Association.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Carl Dean Barrington, Sr.

She is survived by her son, LTC Carl Dean Barrington Jr and wife, Barbara; daughter, Jewell Diane Stroble and husband, Scott; son, Wylie Leland Barrington and wife, Crystal, and 11 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, numerous friends, and extended family.
