Eugene Denzel Ives, 86 of Waco passed away Thursday August 19, 2004 at his residence. Services will be 10am Monday at OakCrest Funeral Home with burial in Waco Memorial Park. Joel Worthington will officiate.
Visitation will start at 6 pm Sunday and will last until 8 pm at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Eugene was born on September 6, 1917 in Limestone County to Roy and Eller (Denton) Ives. He was a member of the 1st Assembly of God and served in the Navy.
His wife Mary Jane Ives preceded him in death in 2000.
He is survived by his son, Ronnie Ives and wife Marcia; granddaughter, Teresa Ives; grandson, David Ives; great-granddaughter, Maddison Ives all of Waco; Sisters, Ruby Garden, Bobbie McReynolds, Billie Norris and Margaret Mann; brother Clyde Ives and nieces and nephews.
