Eugene Mena Gonzales Iii

Eugene Mena Gonzales III, 51, of McGregor, Texas passed away on Thursday, June 16, 2022. Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 22, 2022, at 10:00 am at OakCrest Funeral Home, with Burial at Waco Memorial Park. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 21, 2022, at 6:00 to 8:00 pm with Rosary at 7:00 pm at OakCrest funeral Home.

Eugene was born in Waco, Texas on September 4, 1970, to Eugene Mena and Enedina (Olivares Jimenez) Gonzales II. He graduated from University High School and attended college. He loved his parents and his family, always ready to assist everyone. Eugene enjoyed family gatherings and was a great friend to all. The apple of his eye was his daughter, Cathy, who could do no wrong.

He is preceded in death by his loving mother, Enedina; and brother, Raul D. Acevedo.

Eugene is survived by his loving daughter, Maria (Cathy) Arevalo; siblings, David Lee Gonzales and wife, Melissa, Joseph Gregory Gonzales and wife, Rose, Alicia A. McNeill and husband, Joseph, Krystal M. Reyes, Bridgette V. Reyes, Aleah M. Reyes; as well as many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers are Alex Chapa, Rudy Barragan, Craig White, Israel Contreras, Mark Nawara and Randy Jimenez.
