Eva Estrada

Eva Estrada, 58, of Waco, passed away on March 24, 2023, at Hillcrest Hospital surrounded by her loved ones. Eva fought a fearless battle of Diabetes.

Eva was born April 12, 1964, in Gatesville, TX, to Patsy Zapata Gonzales and Crispen Gayton Gonzales. She moved to Waco in 1967. In October 1984, she married her high school sweetheart, Rafael Estrada, who is also the Father of their three daughters. Eva was the most wonderful wife, mom, daughter, sister, aunt, cousin, and friend to many. She would give the shirt off of her back and the last dime she had to anyone who needed it. Her family was her everything, especially her daughters, grandchildren, and sisters. She enjoyed spending every second she could get with her family.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Patsy Gonzales; father, Crispen Gonzales; and her niece, Victoria Stout.

Survivors include her beloved husband, Rafael Estrada; her three daughters, Trista Estrada and husband, Louis Lopez, Veronica Stride and husband, Daniel Stride, and Tina Estrada; seven beautiful grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

The family would like to extend a special thanks to everyone who surrounded her with love during her last days with us. Also, express their appreciation to the Hillcrest Hospice staff and Nurse Jenny for the gentleness and extra care you showed her during such a difficult time.
