Evelyn Ann Chase, 58, passed away April 10, 2012 at Providence Health Center. Funeral Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, April 14th at Living Word C.O.G.I.C., 1005 Dunbar Street. Visitation with the family will be 6 - 8 p.m. Friday, April 13 at OakCrest Funeral Home, 4520 Bosque Blvd.
Evelyn Ann was born February 27, 1954 to Lenard Roy Chatman, Sr. and Katie Mryl Chatman in Waco. She graduated from AJ Moore High School in 1973, and attended Paul Quinn College. In 1978 she was married to Clarence E. Chase Jr. She was employed at UR Fashion, Waco Apparel, and later at the Methodist Home. She retired in 1998, due to her illness.
Evelyn leaves behind to mourn her husband of 34 years, Clarence; children, Ava L London, and Clarence E. Chase, III; grandchildren, Austin Chatman and Jay la Chase; siblings, Bertha L. Wastson, Delois Jones, Roy C Chatman, and Patrick L Fairley; a host of cousins, nieces and nephews, and other family members and friends
