Evelyne Jung

Evelyne M. Jung, 94, of Waco, passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2014. Mass of Christian Burial will be 12 noon Friday at St. Louis Catholic Church with burial at Oakwood Cemetery.

Rosary will be 7 p.m. Thursday at OakCrest Funeral Home.

Evelyne was born in Ticonderoga, N.Y. to Harry and Mildred French. During World War II, she served in the Air Force as a Senior Staff Sergeant. She married Robert Jung on November 4, 1947 in San Antonio, Texas. Afterwards she served as a Registered Nurse until she retired in 1975.

She was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers and two sisters; her husband, Bob in 2007; son, Jack; and daughter, Sheila.

She is survived by her son, Russell Jung of White Rock, New Mexico; two daughters, Cynthia Bellringer of China Spring and Sandra Light of Hewitt; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
